Mangalore is becoming very famous in Indian map for various reasons both nationally and internationally.Mangaloreans are settled in various parts of the world especially more concentrated in gulf countries followed by America and Britain.I believe this is the reason why Mangaloreans think globally when it comes to Indian economy,Religious harmony,cultural activities and variuos languages. We live with religious harmony outside our country but why we need to fight for the issues related to religion in our home town? Who is responsible for this?? I would like to ask every one fundamental question Can we live in isolation saying our religion is the best in this Global village??I dont believe people who are educated will think about religion as a main priority especailly in this critical era of economic recession,job loss,terrorism etc.Need of the hour is solving the main problems assosicted with our national issues like economic recession,Employment,Education,Healthcare,corruption,legal system and national security.
Many scholars,scientists,entrepreneurs and religious heads in our country mentioning about importance of education to every one since last 50 years but have achieved this mile stone??
We claim there is a tremondous growth in our GDP last year it was around 8% but if we look into world fact book,CIA India still has around 15% unemployment rate,$163 billion public debt,25% living below poverty line,lack of human rights,exploitation,Child labour,malnutrition,Millions HIV/AIDS patients and cancer patients.
So far in any industry India has not produced a single technogical product which we can claim indegenious to our country,technologically ours which is marketed worldwide.We have witnessed massive growth in software and biotechnolgy industry but we have not introduced a single software product or medical molecule into global market.We have just become a service backyard for developed nations like America and Europe and totally dependent on them which we are experienecing as jobloss and economic recession.
We have intelligents,professionals,scintists and management Gurus in our country but majority are working either in America or for International companies with this economy of that particular company will grow.Another big reason is Indian political and judicial system is so corrupt where Intellectuals are not able to work under them.This is high time intelligents and professionals need to think differently and grab the power from illitrate politicians with criminal records otherwise we cant claim intelligents as intelligents.If we look into political system in America and Britain i think only those people who has knowledge,Education and clean record can contest election.We need to end this polling system where politicians distributing money and liquor during election and coming back again after 5 years and doing the same leaving the elector in same condidtion.I request every professionals,educated and intellectuals of our country and constituency to take part in Election and choose the right candidate who can bring in change.
I have taken the intiation for contesting as an independent secular candidate from Dakshina kannada constituency.I have prepared a business plan and strategy to develop Mangalore if i am elected.I will work hard in creating jobs for unemployed youths,educating and training women force,providing education and health care to all,developing domestic and international market for arecanut,coconut,cocoa,rice and our food industry.Working towards developing yakshagana and Indian arts globally.Introducing Indian yoga and Ayurveda in a systematic manner so that it can be accepted globally.
More over living with communal harmony.
